Six easy steps to apply:
Ingredients/Our Promise

Polyacrylic Acid & Acrylates Copolymer: Generally considered non-toxic, these are like tiny, flexible bonds that help your nail stickers adhere smoothly and stay put, so you can enjoy a flawless manicure for days. Polyacrylic acid sounds scary, but actually is a non-toxic thickening and gelling agent used in many cosmetics - and even in diapers! Safe for our baby’s butts, and our nails.
Glycerine Propoxylate Triacrylate: This one does double duty. It keeps the semi-cured gel soft and flexible enough to apply easily—then locks into place when cured, forming a durable, non-porous seal. While acrylates can sound intimidating (and are not strictly non-toxic when used on the skin, their usage in gel nail stickers is considered safe. In semi-cured wraps, the Triacrylate is partially cured even before application. Curing the sticker with a UV forms a solid, non-absorptive layer, ensuring your nails and skin cannot absorb any triacrylate.
Isopropylthioxanthone: This is a photoinitiator, which is necessary to kickstart the reaction that hardens the semi-cured gel into a durable nail coating. It is a highly efficient photoinitiator, which means it requires a small amount (60 seconds!) to effectively cure the nail (and, less time under UV = better for your skin). In nail wraps, Isopropylthioxanthone is considered safe and non-toxic.

May Contain (Color Dependent):
Barium Lake, Calcium Lake, Aluminum Lake: These are simply fancy names for the dazzling pigments that create the gorgeous colors and designs on your nail stickers.
Titanium Dioxide, Aluminum Powder, Bismuth Oxychloride: These ingredients add a touch of shimmer and shine, giving your nails that eye-catching, salon-quality finish.

I've never done my nails before - how do I get started?

We believe the Livi Gel Mani System™ is so easy, that even non-DIYers can master using it. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but make sure to check out our videos on ourlearn how page. We also offer office hours on our Instagram Live or email us for a 1:1 consultation.er

Does the UV lamp damage my skin?

Our UV lamp is much less harmful than salon lamps because it's smaller and uses lower voltage (6 Watt UV lights versus 50 Watt UV lights at the salon), and our gel stickers are more than 60% cured when you put them on your nails. But if you want extra peace of mind, just wear our UV protective gloves.

Do I have to cut and file my nails?

Yep, but don’t worry—we’ve got super easy instructions to help you get the perfect shape.

What about cutting cuticles?

We actually advise against cutting your cuticles. Just gently push them back to keep your nails healthy. Cutting cuticles is a myth that salons often push, but it’s not necessary and can actually do more harm than good. Check out more information on why you shouldn’t cut your cuticles here.

How do I remove a Livi Manicure™?

Removing a Livi Manicure™ is a breeze. Simply use the cuticle oil pen and gently lift the gel with the stick—voilà! Click here for an in-depth video on removal.

Do my nails get damaged when I remove Livi Manicure™?

Nope! Unlike the salon, where gel manicures can thin and damage your nails, our manicure is designed to be easily and safely at home if you follow the removal steps.. Just apply cuticle oil and use the stick to lift the nail.

Why is the nail salon so miserable and such a time suck?

Honestly, it feels like a conspiracy against women’s valuable time. We’re here to change that.
